What’s one leadership lesson that’s shaped who you are today?

“Leadership starts with mindset. How I choose to see a situation – especially during challenges – shapes how I respond. A phrase I carry with me is “Siempre tienes una opción” (“You always have a choice”). Staying true to my values and leading with authenticity have made all the difference.”

If you could give one piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be?

“Focus on what truly matters. My mom always said, “Give priority to what priority deserves.” Don’t confuse being busy with being effective. Real growth happens when you learn to pause, reflect, and make intentional choices – ones rooted in purpose, not pressure.

What’s your go-to advice for women rising in pharma?

“Be curious. Stay open to learning and stretch beyond what feels comfortable. There’s always more than one way to solve a problem or grow into a new opportunity – and often, it starts with asking the right questions and embracing different perspectives.”
