To what do you attribute your biggest career successes? 

My career has been fueled by an insatiable appetite for new challenges and continuous learning. In regulatory affairs, I expanded my expertise across various submission types for different markets - from manufacturing processes to clinical and labeling requirements. 

When presented with an opportunity to develop digital engagement capabilities for medical teams, I embraced the chance to build an entirely new set of skills. This pattern has defined my professional journey: reaching a certain level of mastery in one area, then willingly stepping back into a novice role to grow in another. 

This cycle of expertise-building followed by strategic discomfort has consistently driven my growth and opened doors I might never have anticipated. 

What advice do you have for future generations of women about their voice/leadership/gender equality? 

Your career belongs to you. Position yourself strategically for roles you aspire to hold and confidently communicate your accomplishments - they won't always speak for themselves. 

If advancement within your organization is your goal, seek clarity on which skills are truly valued in leadership positions. Then, if these align with your personal aspirations, create deliberate opportunities to develop and showcase these competencies. 

Advocate for your career with the same passion you would for your most important projects. 

What is a trend going on in the pharmaceutical industry that doesn't get enough attention? 

Though perhaps not a "trend" but more of an observation: I'm continually impressed by the remarkable combination of intelligence and compassion that drives our workforce. Interactions with colleagues across various functions and career stages reveal not just deep expertise, but genuine concern for patients, healthcare providers, and communities. 

This distinctive blend of scientific rigor and human empathy creates a work environment unlike any other industry - and represents our greatest collective strength. 

What is your favourite leadership/business book and why? 

"The Obstacle is the Way" by Ryan Holiday is a book I return to often. Its central insight is that that life's purpose isn't obstacle avoidance but growth through challenge, which resonates deeply in our regulated industry. 

Rather than viewing compliance requirements as limitations that hinder our business, I've learned to see them as frameworks that elevate our standards and ultimately serve patients better. 

This shift in perspective transforms potential frustrations into opportunities for innovation. 

What is your proudest work achievement you would say so far? 

My proudest achievement was embracing entrepreneurship after years in corporate roles. While I had dabbled in regulatory affairs consulting some years ago, alongside full-time employment, taking the leap to establish my own business required confronting deep-seated fears about leaving organizational security. By 2022, my growing passion for digital engagement revealed clear opportunities to help organizations navigate their digital transformation journeys and bridge the gap between executive vision and field team implementation. In January 2023, I stepped fully into entrepreneurship - embracing one challenge after another, learning constantly, and growing through each experience. 

Though I'm still evolving professionally, this willingness to reinvent myself represents the courage I'm most proud of. 

What are you currently working on to complement your main job or enhance your skillset? 

Currently, I'm immersing myself in artificial intelligence technologies, constantly discovering practical applications to enhance my efficiency and versatility as a consultant. This journey began with a project that initially seemed beyond my expertise. Facing that moment of panic - that impostor syndrome we all experience - I turned to ChatGPT with foundational questions: "What do I need to know about...?", "What are the challenges with...?", "What questions would help me uncover...?" These AI tools provided enough context to help me look beyond technical complexity and focus on the process flow and the human element, as I had in previous digital projects. In the end, I successfully identified the root cause of the issue and proposed different solutions to the client, as promised. This experience taught me that AI can be a powerful complement to human expertise and capacity, not a replacement for it. Now I'm systematically exploring these tools to enhance my client deliverables while staying centered on the uniquely human elements of transformation that technology alone can't address.
