Women Support Network of the Year

Over the past year, Sandoz has proven itself a leader in creating an inclusive, supportive network for women within the organization. Their commitment to empowering women is evident in the various coaching and mentoring opportunities provided through both local and global programs. Notably, three women were selected for Sandoz's internal mentoring program in 2023, and two women from Canada were chosen for the global “New Leaders Program Pilot,” providing them with unique opportunities for leadership development on both local and international stages.

Sandoz’s dedication to promoting gender equality is also reflected in its senior leadership. The company’s executive committee is composed of 43% women from diverse backgrounds, and 53% of the directors at Sandoz Canada are women, showing a strong commitment to parity. In 2023, the company earned the prestigious Parity Certification™ for its efforts in gender diversity and inclusion, a recognition proudly accepted by their leadership team.

Sandoz has also engaged in meaningful initiatives that directly benefit women, such as its partnership with Dress for Success Montréal, offering professional clothing and development tools to empower women in the workforce. From mentorship to community outreach, Sandoz’s commitment to supporting women in all facets of their careers stands as an example to all.

For these significant contributions and tireless efforts to support and empower women, Women Leaders in Pharma proudly present the 2024 Shine Bright Women Support Network of the Year award to Sandoz Canada.

The 2024 Shine Bright Women Support Network of the Year award recognizes companies that have supported the women’s network within their company. It recognizes companies whose senior leadership has invested itself in implementing such network. The network has been funded and has provided women with coaching and mentoring opportunity. It has also provided women with a safe place to discuss broader issues that may impact their work life.
