Mentorship Program of the Year

Mentorship Program of the Year

Organon has established itself as a leader in mentorship with its outstanding Mentorship Program of the Year, designed to create a truly accessible, structured, and impactful mentoring experience for employees across all levels and departments. This program offers every team member the opportunity to participate, fostering growth, learning, and connection within the organization.

The program’s thoughtful structure ensures meaningful mentor-mentee pairings based on interests, experience, goals, and personality alignment. After each pairing, a comprehensive onboarding session provides mentors and mentees with essential resources, guidance, and a framework for success, emphasizing roles, responsibilities, and psychological safety. Throughout the year, regular touchpoints, surveys, and a final wrap-up session gather valuable feedback to refine and improve the program.

More than just knowledge-sharing, Organon’s mentorship program fosters career development and confidence. With monthly meetings and special initiatives, mentees have gained valuable connections beyond their immediate teams and, in some cases, new career paths. Notably, one former summer intern, with a mentor’s guidance, secured a permanent position and later advanced to a role aligned with their goals.

Since its launch in 2021, Organon’s mentorship program has continued to expand, thanks to the consistent support of leadership. Co-sponsors Mike Casia, Managing Director, and Litsa Spiridonakos, HR Director, actively champion this initiative, which has already facilitated over 48 mentor-mentee pairings.

The 2024 Shine Bright Diversity Initiative of the Year Award honors an outstanding program that has significantly advanced diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. This prestigious award recognizes a comprehensive Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative that has demonstrated measurable success in fostering a more inclusive and equitable work environment, benefiting employees and the broader community.
