General Manager, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Canada
Lee is currently the General Manager of Ferring Canada and has close to 30 years experience in the Pharma-Biotech Industry. In fact, it was Ferring Canada that gave Lee her first opportunity into the industry in early 1990 when she joined the company as a Clinical Research Associate following the completion of her post graduate degree. She has certainly come full circle and is incredibly proud to be leading the team here in Canada since joining in 2017.
Prior to Ferring, Lee held the role of President and CEO of LEO Pharma and CEO of Medical Futures, as well as various roles with Sanofi-Genzyme, Roche and Solvay Pharma. She has had enormous opportunities to broaden her level of expertise and develop as a senior leader in various areas including Clinical Research, Market Access, Marketing, Sales and Business Unit Management. Her therapeutic areas of knowledge include fertility and woman’s health, gastroenterology, urology, neurology, nephrology and dermatology.
Lee holds a Master of Science degree in Anatomy Physiology and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto.
Business Unit Head, Rare Metabolic Diseases, Takeda Canada
Jill serves as the Head of Rare Metabolic Disease for Takeda, Canada. In this role she oversees marketing and sales focused on maximizing value of approved brands for lysosomal storage disorders (LSDs). She has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Prior to joining Takeda Canada, Jill was the Head of the Customer Excellence Team at Shire Pharmaceuticals responsible to lead the teams accountable for the core commercial operations across the Canadian business. In an international assignment, she was the Executive Business Director in the United States for the Metabolic Business Unit at AstraZeneca. She has extensive experience in sales, sales management, marketing management and senior leadership.
Jill holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Acadia University, and Dietetic Internship at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Executive Director Customer Marketing, Boehringer Ingelheim Canada
With 30 years of experience across multiple therapeutic areas, Cheryl’s single-minded approach in serving the cause of the patient and customer has led to development of integrated omni channel journeys, that not only leverage current digital trends but integration of disruptive technology as value offers.
With experience as both Executive Director Sales and now Executive Director Marketing, Cheryl has been able to further shape the structure and culture at BI to increase the importance of what might be considered the softer skills (e.g. EQ, empowerment, growth mindset, resilience, coaching and leading through uncertainty).
With a vision of Value Through Innovation, Cheryl and the team have taken a proactive approach to leading through the COVID pandemic with the goal of serving customers’ needs while setting the business up for future success.
